The Wessex Dental Specialist Centre joins the Oasis Dental Group

Alan, Colin, Martin, Mike, Stewart and Stephen are pleased to announce that the Wessex Dental Specialist Centre is now part of the Oasis Dental Group. We believe we have taken the Centre as far as we can on our own and that now is the right time to become part of a larger group that shares our vision for the future. After much consideration we have selected Oasis Dental Care as the organisation we feel are best placed to work with us to develop the Wessex Dental Specialist Centre to its' full potential.

The profession is entering a time when there will be even more demands for regulation and compliance, all of which takes a great deal of management time, knowledge and expertise. Our priority is to ensure that we use our training and skills to provide dental care to the patients you all kindly refer to us. In order to continue to do this effectively it makes sense to join an organisation that can provide not only support with compliance but also most importantly the business overview for the Centre. In our view Oasis Dental Care offers unparalleled support in this field together with opportunities for us to broaden the services we offer to our referring colleagues. 

The Centre will continue to operate as before with Alan, Martin, Mike, Stewart and Stephen continuing to provide referral services alongside Ken, Rachel, Bernadette and Neil. The updated fee scales and the treatment options each speciality is able to provide for your patients that we sent you earlier this year will continue as before. All our existing staff are also continuing in their roles so there should be no change in the service provision we have always prided ourselves in offering you. 

We view the future with Oasis Dental Care as one of great opportunity, and we already have plans for a variety of teaching and training courses to be run through the centre. The very popular Study Group for Dental Nurses will continue and we plan to reintroduce a Study Group for dentists who are potential candidates for the MJDF qualification shortly.
