Dental Nurse Training

The Dental Nurse Study Group has been running at the centre for over three years now, attracting around forty dental nurses to discuss and consider a variety of dental issues. All courses meet the GDC criteria for continuing education, and certificates will be provided to add to your CPD portfolio.

The Study Group is run by Sheila Tickle, one of the most experienced nurses at the centre. A small charge is made for each course to cover the costs of catering and speakers. Click here to view the 2012 course schedule and booking form.  Please also view our course terms and conditions.

Several of the planned courses cover the recommended core subjects for continuing professional development that should be completed within a five year cycle. We anticipate that these courses in particular will be heavily subscribed, so please do contact the centre as soon as possible to reserve a place. Space is limited for all of the courses run at the centre and will be allocated on a "first come, first served" basis.
