Ceramic braces offer very good aesthetics because they are translucent and take up the natural colour of your own teeth. New Teflon-coated white wires now mean these are almost invisible unless someone gets really close.

Because the fixed braces are designed in a patient friendly way you would need fewer appointments than with the older style braces. You will come in to the centre to see Dr Hawthorn every 8 weeks for adjustment.

Your journey to a beautiful smile will start with a consultation with Dr Stewart Hawthorn. At this appointment, following discussion, your teeth are examined and an impression is taken together with x-ray and photographs.

The treatment for this patient was carried out with fixed braces using ceramic (tooth coloured) brackets over a period of eighteen months. The patient is very pleased with the result of her treatment.
