Hampshire-based Specialist Dental Practive Short-listed for National Award

The Wessex Dental Specialist Centre, based in Fareham has been short-listed for the prestigious Best Specialist Referral Practice category at the Private Dentistry awards 2006, one of only three clinics in the country to do so.
This award recognises another successful year for the Centre, that opened in 2004 and has seen several thousand patients pass through it’s doors for specialist dental treatment. The Centre combines Endodontic, Prosthodontic, Periodontic, Orthodontic, Oral Surgery and Dental Laboratory resources under one roof; the only centre of it’s kind in the region.
They pride themselves on working with dentists in partnership, to provide excellent services to their patients, and also investing in the dentists themselves and their staff through training courses and open days.
The Awards are a showcase for the excellent work that has taken place, and there ahve been many examples of the innovation and dedication from private dental practices over the past year . Many dental professionals will be attending the awards, held at the exclusive Café Royal in London on Friday 24th November.
Being short-listed for the Best Specialist Referral Practice clearly shows that their efforts ahve not been in vain. Clinical Director, Michael Thomas commented, “This year has been a busy one, building and maintaining new relationships with dentists, but it has all be worth it. The Centre is delighted to be short-listed, and all are greatly looking forward to the ceremony in London. We have an open day as well on the same day, so we are still yet to decide who will be going!”
