Hypnotising Treatments Available from Local Dental Specialists

The Wessex Dental Specialist Centre, based in Fareham is welcoming their very own Paul McKenna to the Centre, by offering hypnosis treatments to their patients.
Julie Walsh, currently a receptionist at the Centre trained for a year of extensive in-house tuition at the accredited Eos Seminars ltd. She now is a registered hypnotherapist with an Ericksonian Hypnotherapy Diploma, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Practitioner Certificate and Certificate in Life Coaching.
Julie’s qualification means that the Centre can now offer patients a range of additional treatments to make their experience at the Centre even more valuable. For many, a trip to the dentist can be daunting, or even avoided due to fear of the dentists chair. Help with needle phobias, gagging reflex during treatment, anxiety and fear of dentists and stop smoking programmes is all available. Often fears are created based on negative past experience, and in some cases NLP can be useful in helping to re-frame experiences and change learnt behavior and beliefs no longer of use.
Julie comments, “I am so pleased that I can now offer hypnotherapy to our patients at the Centre. Hypnotherapy can help people to overcome their fears and phobias, thereby making their visit to the Centre a pleasant experience. My treatment also complements the five specialist areas we have at the Centre, and enables our specialists to carry out procedures more effectively, knowing their patients are relaxed and at ease.” The Centre is the only one of its kind in Hampshire; other services they offer are Endodontic, Prosthodontic, Periodontic, Orthodontic treatments as well as Oral Surgery and Dental Laboratory resources under one roof.
