"I am delighted with the service and treatment that I received from the Wessex Dental Specialist Centre. Over the past two years I have had implant and bridge treatment with a combination of specialists, Mr. Thomas and Mr. Taylor and also the hygienist. I have always been unhappy with my teeth. Many years ago, I read an article about a gentleman who had implants in America and that always stayed in my mind since. "I have recently been fitted with veneers at the Wessex Dental Specialist Centre, treatment which lasted for eight weeks.

I was recommended to the Centre by my dentist, and was very impressed with the service I received from the specialists. The treatment was very well explained, and I was kept informed of my progress throughout. The costs of the treatment were very clear and the staff were very friendly and professional. Before the treatment, I was self-conscious about my mouth, but the result is wonderful and I am very pleased. The best thing about them is that they look completely natural, I have hardly had any comments on them which is a good thing. I wouldn't want them to look false at all.

I also had a treatment of Zoom Tooth Whitening while I was there, and the session only took about 90 minutes which was great. They gave me some trays of whitener to use on the first night, and were more than happy to send some more to me in order to get the finish I wanted. The effects have been wonderful, there is such a difference to my teeth, and as long as it has impressed me, I am more than happy that others do not notice!"

"I underwent implant surgery at the Wessex Specialist Dental Centre recently. The entire process lasted for about nine months, and at no stage was I left in the dark about anything. I was informed of my progress at all stages in the surgery, and the specialists that I worked with, Michael Thomas and Stephen Taylor made a special point of working together at all stages in my treatment. Whenever I would come in, both practitioners would telephone each other throughout my treatment, keeping each other informed and discussing on how the treatment could be most beneficial to their goal. The practice nurses that supported both specialists remained the same throughout my treatment, which increased my confidence as I knew they were aware of each stage of the treatment, from start to finish.

I had done some research into some dentists in the area, but hadn't yet found one I was satisfied with so I was pleased when my own dentist then referred me to the Centre. All of my appointments were scheduled to suit me, and I was even telephoned by the Centre the day before to remind me, which was a lovely touch. I found the Centre clean and crisp, very simple and modern which put me at ease as I waited for my appointment.

During my surgery, I was fully 'gowned up', just like at a hospital. Hygiene was always a priority during my treatments, everything was kept clean and tidy which reassured me and helped my nerves tremendously.

My teeth always made me feel self-conscious, though I am an outgoing person this was the one part of my life that didn't seem to fit. Now I have had the treatment, I feel every penny was well spent; I was consistently reassured so I knew that my treatment was not just going to be done, but that it would look great at the same time. I feel so much more confident now, it has really done me the world of good, and I would be more than happy to recommend them to anyone wanting specialist treatment, after all I am thrilled that my dentist recommended them to me!"

"I have recently had 'Zoom!' Tooth Whitening treatment carried out at the Wessex Dental Specialist Centre in Fareham. From my very first contact I found them to be very helpful, informative and professional. They were able to answer all my questions, even to the extent of giving me a direct line telephone number on which I could contact them if I had any other queries - which I did. The Centre itself is very modern, spacious and comfortable and the treatment rooms have a very relaxed feel about them, maintaining the right level of clinical care without being too stuffy. "When I was 17, I suffered trauma to my front teeth that resulted in one being knocked out and another being bent inwards. I received immediate treatment at the Haslar Hospital, though the prognosis for the long-term durability of the teeth was not especially promising.

I was referred to the Wessex Dental Specialist Centre by the hospital, and it was obvious from the initial consultation that both Michael Thomas and Alan Woodman were extremely experienced and knowledgeable. Naturally, this reassured me greatly, and I felt both comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. The support staff were also very helpful and welcoming, which contributed to the relaxed and pleasant environment for a sensitive and lengthy course of treatment. I was at university at the time, and all of the work was scheduled and planned very carefully around my studies and holidays.

My treatment consisted of a tooth implant and an apicectomy (intrusive surgery to my gums), along with some veneer work and bleaching to restore the original appearance of the adjacent damaged tooth. The entire treatment process, which lasted three years, was entirely without discomfort or unease. I had complete confidence that the desired result would be achieved, and I was very grateful for the care and commitment demonstrated by the entire staff.

I am extremely pleased with the appearance of my front teeth, and it is very difficult indeed to observe evidence of my having undergone restorative surgery. The fact that I have never once felt self-conscious or anxious about my teeth is testament to the outstanding and professional service provided by the Wessex Dental Specialist Centre. "I undertook the Zoom! Whitening treatment with the Wessex Dental Specialist Centre recently, and am extremely pleased with the results.

My accountant works opposite to the Centre, so that is how I know about them, but have never visited them before. I have always wanted to have my teeth whitened, so I visited them for an initial consultation.

The process was thorough and I was advised on other courses of treatment that would complement the whitening. As there were a few options, they recommended the best method of whitening for my mouth. They were beautifully accommodating to my needs, Michael Thomas was very helpful, and I was also privileged to be the first person to receive a complimentary foot and hand massage whilst my treatment was going on, which was a lovely touch.

The treatment was speedy and took just over an hour. A specially moulded tray was created from personalised impressions of my teeth. In this I had to wear some whitening gel overnight to extend the effect. Their customer service is unstilting, whether before, during or after treatment, and I was fully assured of an improved result from the beginning.

Though I have never been self conscious about my teeth before, I now find myself smiling a lot more, and am often complimented on how gleaming my smile is. I am now trying out brighter shades of make-up to enhance my teeth, something that I would have never done before, and I thank all of the staff who made my experience so pleasurable.
