Tooth Restoration

Tooth restoration is also known as Prosthodontic treatment. The specialists in Prosthodontics at the Wessex Dental Specialist Centre, Michael Thomas and Martin Lovell look to improve the overall appearance of your teeth by preserving, rebuilding or replacing your existing teeth.

When teeth are lost, Prosthodontic treatment is recommended to help:

• Maintain a great smile without gaps
• Stop other teeth moving
• Ensure continued ease in chewing or talking
• Provide continued support in the jaw and facial bone structure

Fixed or removable replacement methods can be used when restoring teeth. The Prosthodontic team work closely with the in-house state-of-the-art laboratory, providing replacement methods such as implants, bridges and dentures, made in the centre's dental laboratory.
